Clean the tank at least once a week.

Put your head inside the tank and smell it.

If it smells like anything, its time to clean. Bearded dragons do not emit odor.

What you would be smelling is poop.

So if your bearded dragon room smells like "Bearded Dragon". it's poop.

Bearded Dragons will dislike the smell as much as you so keep on it for both of you.

Use a cleaner that kills 99.9% bacteria. The harsher the chemicals, the more you need to rinse, and let dry.

 

All bleach or harsh cleaners must evaporate before putting live animals inside.

1. Take everything out and wash it. 

2. Wash the tank

3. Dry everything, and turn on heat lamps to evaporate the rest.

4. Wait a few minutes.

5. Watch the humidity gauges to know if its evaporated.
